Tony Bennett: Lady Gaga to Be 'As Big as Elvis'

Living legend Tony Bennett, who is making the rounds promoting his second farewell album,  sat down with Billboard magazine to discuss a range of topics from the crooners promise his "Duets II" album really "will be the last one," to talk of his time spent recording with the late Amy Winehouse and his high praise of a certain pop diva.

Featuring an all-star roster, "Duets II" is all but guaranteed  a huge showing on the Billboard 200.  As if the likes of Aretha Franklin, Willie Nelson, Andrea Bocelli, Norah Jones, Josh Groban, John Mayer, Carrie Underwood, Natalie Cole, Mariah Carey, Sheryl Crow and the late Amy Winehouse weren't enough, Bennet featured musics biggest star Lady Gaga on a rendition of "The Lady is a Tramp."  Somehow we're sure  she pulled it off brilliantly, but Gaga and Bennett?

When asked about the very unlikely pairing, Bennett acknowledged that although Gaga might not seem like the most natural fit on a Tony Bennett album he had "never met a more talented person in my life" adding "I think she's going to become as big as Elvis Presley."

High praise.  Surely by the end of today Tony Bennetts sanity will be questioned about 1000 times. Until then, here's to the Queen of not only Pop, but Rock too.  Long live the Queen.
